The Core of the Gospel: Repentance, Conscience, and Faith Repentance and the Cross: Acts 3:19: "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord." Luke 24:47: "And that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem." Faith and God's Will: Matthew 6:33: "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." 1 John 5:14: "And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us." Conscience and True Motivation: 1 Timothy 1:5: "The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith." Acts 24:16: "So I always take pains to have a clear conscience toward both God and man." The Gospel Message: Romans 1:16: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek." 1 Corinthians 1:18: "For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." Healing and Restoration: Psalm 51:10: "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me." Ezekiel 36:26: "And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you.
