Embracing Renewal and Hope (06/10/'24) -Statement
Embracing Renewal and Hope
(Renewal in the Hardened Heart)
Are your hearts hardened, like stones beneath the sea? Having eyes, do you not see, the light that sets you free? Having ears, do you not hear, the whispers of the wind, carrying the voice of hope, where new life can begin?
There is hope for a tree cut down, its roots still grasp the earth; it can come back to life and sprout, renewed, a fresh rebirth. If a man dies, can he live again? In hope, we wait, we yearn, for better times to come our way, till troubles cease to burn.
"If you have a poor tree," the Savior said with grace, "Poor fruit will be its yield, its mark, a bitter taste." A tree is known by the fruit it bears, as hearts are by their deeds. Let's nourish roots with love and care, planting faithful seeds.
So let our hearts not harden; let our eyes and ears perceive the hope that lies in patience and the life we can achieve.
