Reflections Through Time (06/07/'24) -Statement
Reflections Through Time
In the annals of time, where shadows fall, history whispers a clarion call. We must learn from yesteryears, finding our way guided by lessons, both night and day. Tragedy strikes first, a somber reminder of the seeds we've sown—wars and conflicts, hearts torn apart, echoes of sorrow, and heavy hearts. Yet, heedless, we wander through time’s vast arc, blind to the warnings and stark lessons. History repeats in a farcical dance, mistakes reappearing as if by chance.
"Nothing is new under the sun," it’s said. We thread the cycles of the past through our lives. The wisdom lies not in nostalgic pleas of better days gone by. In the folds of what has been lies the map for what might begin. Each tragedy turned farce is a chance anew—to learn, to grow, to see it through. We must understand the weight of days gone by and, in their essence, find the why. The future, bright and clear, must be forged from knowledge, without fear.
History teaches us what we must not forget: lessons in living, in love, in regret. From past to present, the continuum flows, guiding humanity as it grows. Let us glean from the scrolls of time a vision for the future, sublime. With wisdom from tragedies and farces that play, we can build a tomorrow from yesterday.
