Subject: Embracing the Breath of Life In the beginning, we enter this world with a gasp, a struggle, and a breath—the essence of life that sustains us all, rich or poor. This breath is a simple yet profound reminder of the divine spark within each of us. Genesis tells us that God formed man from the dust and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, making man a living being. This sacred breath symbolizes love, pure and unending. Love only grows by sharing, a truth whispered by the breath that sustains us. We are called to care for one another, to understand each other, and to share in ways that transcend words. In giving, we receive more than we can imagine. Colossians 3:17 instructs, "Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God through Him." Praise God, the source of our breath and life. Let's share, care, and pray, casting aside comparisons. Let go for share, care, prayer, and skip the compare. By doing this, we honor the breath of life, the love that binds us, and the divine spirit that breathes within us. Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 3, 2024)
