Subject: Embracing Christ's Plumb Line: Mercy and Grace in Action Dear Friends, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share a reflection on the profound concept that God's plumb line is Jesus Christ, embodying mercy and grace to keep God's love true. Unlike words, which can often be empty, Christ's mercy and grace are evident in His works. As He said, "If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father." The plumb line of Christ is unwavering and true, demonstrating mercy and grace through His divine actions. Amos, the prophet, called for justice and righteousness, urging God's standard to prevail. However, it is in Christ, the perfect plumb line, where we see the ultimate expression of God's love. Every act of healing and every touch of grace from Christ reveals the Father's love. We are encouraged to believe the works of Christ and see the light of the Father in every deed of kindness and every powerful act. Christ's works shine as a beacon of mercy and a testament to God's enduring love. Let us align our hearts with Christ, the plumb line, allowing mercy and grace to guide our every step.
