Subject: The Transformative Power of Faith, Hope, and Love (06/15/'24) -Message

Subject: Embrace of the Divine Triad Dear Friends, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share a reflective piece with you that delves into the profound connection between faith, hope, and love through the lens of Christ's transformative power. Without Christ, hope cannot be transformed into sacrificial love. Without hope, faith cannot offer us God as our own. Without faith, love cannot give us to our neighbor as our own. "Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13). In the realm where shadows wane, hope strives yet cannot remain. Without Christ, it stands alone, untransformed, a distant tone. Hope without its sacred source cannot chart its loving course. Faith falters, blind and cold, without hope's vision to uphold. Faith, in turn, must lead us near, to God, our shelter from all fear. But without its hopeful seed, faith cannot fulfill our need. For love to blossom, rich and pure, faith and hope must both endure. Love, the greatest, binds us tight, giving us to neighbor’s sight. Now these three, they intertwine: faith, hope, love, a sacred sign. But the greatest, Love, divine, in Christ’s embrace, we all align. May this reflection bring you closer to understanding the powerful interplay of faith, hope, and love in your own life. Let us embrace this divine triad, allowing Christ to transform our hearts and lives. Blessings, Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 15, 2024)
