Title: Embodying the Gospel: A Call to Action for Today's World (06/14/'24) -Message

Title: Embodying the Gospel: A Call to Action for Today's World Dear Friends, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share a vision that has been resonating deeply within me, inspired by timeless truths and the pressing needs of our modern world. In the fields where laborers toil and sweat, a vision takes shape, urging us to call the workers and pay them fairly. From last to first, let justice be shared. The ancient wisdom, "The last shall be first, and the first last," guides us toward a society where equal wages are not just a dream but a standard. This principle carves new paths in our hearts, forging a foundation for a community where every hand that labors is honored and every effort acknowledged. Forgiveness blooms in this vision, transforming hearts once hardened by pain. The words, "Who shows much love has much received," teach us that in forgiving and loving, we find true freedom. Empathy and compassion flow like gentle streams, nurturing every heart they touch, guiding us toward a life where love and forgiveness are intertwined. We become advocates for fairer days, supporting the weak, uplifting the poor, and seeing in each neighbor a reflection of the divine. Our shared humanity becomes our strength, a tapestry woven with threads of unity and grace. This embodied gospel shines in our deeds, bringing the distant vision near. With hearts sincere, we act. We build a world where equal pay and forgiveness are not mere words but lived experiences. In every fair wage, in every act of compassion, a better world takes shape. Let us ensure this vision, this embodied gospel, in our time and place. Together, we can make this a reality. Warm regards, Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 14, 2024)
