Even in the heart of abundance, such as the Bay Area, thousands find themselves seeking shelter beneath the indifferent night sky, their stories interwoven with the fabric of a broken dream. The relentless pulse of inflation and the widening chasm of income inequality push many further into the shadows. The pandemic, a relentless gale, stripped away the security we once relied upon, leaving behind a landscape marked by temporary relief and enduring grief. Here, where high hopes meet higher costs, the scarcity of affordable housing turns aspirations into echoes of despair.
