Here are some thoughts on this issue and ways to address it: Reasons for the Decline Complacency and Cultural Adaptation: Many Christian communities have become comfortable and adapted to cultural norms that dilute the core message of the Gospel. This can lead to a lack of urgency in evangelism and a weakened moral and spiritual witness. Lack of Discipleship: Effective discipleship is often lacking. Many Christians are not equipped to understand, defend, and live out their faith in a compelling way. Secularism and Relativism: The rise of secularism and relativism challenges absolute truths, making it difficult for the exclusive claims of Christianity to be accepted. Internal Divisions: Disagreements and divisions within the church can weaken its witness and distract from its mission.
