Statement: The Eternal Flame: The Pre-Existence and Divinity of Christ (06/07/'24)
Statement: The Eternal Flame: The Pre-Existence and Divinity of Christ
Before the dawn of time's embrace, ere stars adorned the night’s vast space, the will of God had made its place in realms beyond what eyes can trace. Before Abraham drew his breath, before the prophets spoke of death, the Word existed, life’s own breadth, in timeless truth, beyond the flesh.
"I Am," He spoke, an eternal flame, a name that sets all hearts aflame, divine, unbound by earthly frame. Before all worlds, His claim remained the same. Misunderstood, they raised the stone, blind to the truth their hearts had known. The One who stood was not alone; in Him, the Father’s light had shone.
From Moses' bush to the temple’s court, the echo of His voice retorts, "I Am," the source of all rapport. In Him, all ages find support. Eternal Christ, the Living Word, in whom the voice of God is heard. Through time and space, His truth is conferred. Before all else, His love is preferred.
Ontologically profound, in Christ, the depths of God are found. Eternal life in Him is crowned. Before Abraham, His grace is unbound.
This statement highlights the eternal and divine nature of Christ, affirming His pre-existence and unity with God the Father. His declaration, "Before Abraham was, I am," as found in John 8:58, underscores His eternal existence and divine authority. It serves as a powerful reminder of His boundless grace and love for humanity.
