Subject: Embracing the Spirit: Unity and Understanding at Pentecost Title: The Unifying Flame: A Pentecostal Harmony In an ancient land, where tongues were many, a promise came, a gift for any. From heaven's heights, a mighty sound; the Spirit's breath, all hearts unbound. Gathered there, in awe and wonder, a crowd emerged, like rolling thunder. Each one heard, in their own tongue, the Gospel's song, so sweetly sung. From every nation, near and far, they stood amazed, beneath the star. "What does this mean?" they asked in awe, for in their hearts, a fire did draw. The Holy Spirit, like a dove, descended, filled with peace and love. A barrier broken, Babel reversed, in unity, the curse dispersed. No longer bound by words alone, a deeper truth, in hearts was sown. The Spirit's flame, a bridge did span, connecting soul to soul, and man to man. In modern times, we still may see, the Spirit's work, in you and me. When hearts are open, walls come down; in love and grace, the lost are found. We must heed this ancient call, to break down barriers, one and all.
