The Stillness of Faith: Finding Peace in the Midst of Chaos The Calm Within the Storm In still waters, truth is found. Reflections are pure, without a sound. Flowing streams, in constant motion, cannot reveal the heart's devotion. Jesus asks, "Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?" With His voice, the winds wane. He rebukes the sea, and the storm ceases. A great calm follows, bringing peace. What kind of man commands the waves so that the winds obey and the tempest calms? In quietude, His power is displayed, and in faith, our fears and doubts are allayed. Seek not the mirror in waters flowing, for truth in turbulence is unknowing. But in the stillness, clear and bright, we see His love, His strength, His light. The men marveled, with hearts anew, saying, "What sort of man can calm the blue?" In Jesus' calm, our souls are free.
